Squeeze out your Creative Juices

Everyone has their own creative juices. This summer, why not squeeze it and show the world how creative you are! Stop acting that you can’t do an obra- try hard and feel that you are with Michaelangelo, James Cameron, Guillermo Tolentino and Stephanie Meyer.

Be a painter. It’s very easy to paint. You just need a brush, paints or watercolors, a canvass worth cheaper than your cool gadgets and self-confidence. Think of a scene, an object or just express your emotion in an abstract way. For sure your mother will be happy for you have just created a wonderful piece. Make sure you’ll end up cleaning your materials.

Be a writer. You just need a pen, papers and broad imagination. You may write poems, novels, short stories or even essays. Outline first your idea then come up with a rough draft. Revise, encode and print it in a two columned landscaped bond paper. Voila! Let your friends read your write ups. Be sure you are ready for criticism for your improvement.

Be a sculpture. All you need is a handy knife, a piece of wood, perseverance and strength for carving. Have a model or think of an object that delights you most. Carve it into the wood or if you are having a hard time making figure out of the wood, why not try a bar soap. It is softer and aromatic. Make sure your soap sculpture will be displayed not in the bathroom.

Be a director. Why not produce your own mini-movie. You need your handy cams and teamwork with your friends. This is a group art effort so you must have lovable friends to help you in your production, or if you prefer to be solo, it is amazing indeed. Assign a writer, actors, editor and cameraman. For lightings, find alternatives like wide-beam flashlights. Make sure your angles are at its best and shout “cut” if necessary.

If you think you can be an artist and you want to pursue it and be your forever skill, why not enroll in a formal art class. This may help you improve your hidden skills in arts and help you become a good artist. But, for those who don’t want to spend much, right practice will give a free rein to your artistic skills. The good thing is you expressed yourself and made fun with arts. Summer is a period for you to unleash your creative juices. But wait, make certain that you will have your own art exhibit and let people see your masterpiece from the heart.
